Winona LaDuke is a Native American activist, economist, and author, has devoted her life to advocating for Indigenous rights of her homelands, natural resources, and cultural practices. In 1996 and 2000, LaDuke ran for Vice President of the United States as the nominee of the Green Party, on a ticket headed by Ralph Nader.
