Ronnie Cummins has been a powerful advocate for organic food and a forceful critic of a food industry that is dominated by genetically engineered seed and their related synthetic pesticides. With his wife Rose Welch, he starting the watch-dog-group Organic Consumers Association in the 1990′. It is, an organization that advocated for the rights of consumers in the U.S. organic sector. Suffering from cancer, Ronnie Cummins passed away in 2023 at age 76.
