Fred Kirschenmann is an American professor, organic farmer, and a leader in the sustainable agriculture movement. Kirschenmann is board president of Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture and the former director of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture. Kirschenmann is considered “one of the most prominent spokesmen for the sustainable farming movement.
