Ames, Iowa

August 28, 2014

Since the 1970’s Don Huber, an Emeritus Professor of Plant Pathology at Perdue University, has been studying the environmental and human effects of “glyphosate”, the primary broad-spectrum systemic herbicide used to kill weeds on more than 80% of American farms. He discusses with a local farmer his filed of corn which has a corn disease seen throughout the mid-west this year and told him he must harvest shortly to save his crop. The farmer is thankful for the advice.

He is accompanied by Iowan Bob Streit who graduated with degrees in Plant Pathology, Pest Management, and Agronomy.
